PARENTING

Raising a child is meant to be a “co-laboring” with God, the ultimate parent of us all. Yet, more times than not, parenting often brings us deep challenges and circumstances that truly test our “labor of love”.

This section is dedicated to providing parents information and resources that will serve to validate your experiences, support you in your parenting journey, and  promote a deeper understanding of God’s design for loving His children.
Common Things I Help Parents With
in My Office...
  • “My child has a short temper and often creates chaos in the family.”

  • “My spouse says  I am too lenient with the kids and yet I think my spouse is way too strict.”

  • “Our parenting styles are quite different and our children try to manipulate us.”

  • “Our child often isolates and shuts down, especially when we try to check in with them.”

  • “How do we avoid repeating our own parent’s unhealthy ways of dealing with us?”

  • "Our child struggles with ________  (anxiety, depression, anger, acting out sexually, social bullying, cutting, suicidal thoughts, spiritual rebellion, etc.)"
